About Our Camp

Camp Osoha for girls was established in 1921 by Robert Snaddon "Chief" and his wife Helen "Tayito."  Chief's second wife, Emily Snaddon "Nawahne" assumed directorship upon Chief's death in 1952. In 1975, alumna Linda Porter succeeded Nawahne as director and owner.

Osoha is on Big Muskellunge Lake in northern Wisconsin.  This exceptional lake in the Northern Highland State Forest is located near the town of Boulder Junction, 14 miles north of Minocqua.

Osoha's distinct character, traditions and spirit have remained the same throughout its 86 summers.
